Smith, Bertram Turetsky, Ches Smith, Marco Ineidi, Glen Spearman and many others. Alex is now leading and writing for his new quintet, Glad Irys, with Dan Blake: soprano sax, Yana Davydova: guitar, Dmitry Ishenko: bass and Ches Smith: drums.

This album has a seriously cool groove & vibe. Rudy doesn't as much drive, even though he's up front in the mix, as direct a first class group of musicians down a joyous road. I've listened to this at least 12 times so far, finding something new each time. So Freakin' Worth It!
